Apr 28, 2017 An example of the effect that crusher setting has on the product gradation is as follows: If the target crusher setting is 3/8 in. (10 mm) but the setting is not checked and it wears open to 1/2 in. (13 mm), then the end result is a 15 percent decrease in the minus 3/8-in. (10 mm) material size.
Raptor 900. Our R900 is the smallest of the cone crushers that we designed specifically for mining. It can handle the larger loads, common in the mining industry. This model has many advantages for its size. Large and robust with a rigid four-arm mainframe and integral countershaft. 1.8 m (70 in) head diameter.

Dec 19, 2007 The 1400-45 rotor design contains an extremely heavy rotor, and the unit’s primary/ secondary crushing capabilities eliminate the expense of jaw/jaw, or jaw/cone crusher circuits. Units utilize a powerful 510-hp diesel engine with a 175kW generator, and adjustable primary and secondary curtains allow for precise product gradation control.
Crushed stone is a versatile product that can be used in a wide range of applications from construction to road building and even agriculture. Processing this material may include reducing its size with a crusher, sizing the crushed material with a screen and conveying the material into different stockpiles.

Apr 15, 2016 Crusher Product Gradation Charts. Aggregates required for a given job are generally specified by a full set of gradation limits and other relevant properties of the material. When rock is crushed, the product includes material of the size of the crusher setting, some slightly larger and the rest of the material smaller than the crusher setting.
In order to maintain the maximum levels of capacity, gradation, and cubical product, a Cone Crusher must be choke-fed at all times. The best way to keep a choke-feed to the Cone Crusher is with a surge bin (or hopper) and feeder that are located prior to the crusher. Choke-feeding is almost impossible to achieve without a hopper and feeder.
Apr 07, 2020 The closed side setting (CSS) defines the reduction ratio in cone crushers and has a significant effect on product gradation, capacity, and power draw. The closed side setting is measured from the bottom of the mantle to the bottom of the bowl liner at their closest point during the gyrating cycle. CSS should be close to the required product.
Apr 16, 2021 Feed gradation. Moisture content. A measure of the size reduction achieved for a particular crusher application is the reduction ratio. A cone crusher in a secondary crushing application will typically work with a 3.5:1 to 5:1 reduction ratio. Tertiary cone crusher configurations typically work with a reduction ratio of 2.5:1 to 4:1.
HP800 Cone Crusher. Stationary : One HP500, one HP300, two HP200 crushing Amphibolite . Higher yield By operating the HP cone crusher on the lower end of its speed range, the product gradation can be shifted to produce fewer fines and a higher percentage of on-spec product. The HP cone crusher creates a higher value product with less waste.
Propel QM series cone crushers provide unbeatable performance in secondary & tertiary applications. They provide high product yield with desired shape and gradation. They have hydraulic setting adjustment, tramp release and design cavity clearing. Hydro dynamic high alloy bronze bearing design provides better load capability in the dusty, high ...
Mar 02, 2021 In most cases, cone crushers provide reduction ratios (the ratio of the feed size to the crusher vs. the size of the crusher discharge) of 4-to-1 up to 6-to-1. The reduction ratio design limitations and the rated capacity (tons per hour) of the cone crusher are the most important factors to consider when designing a crushing circuit - and ...
We offer a full line of cone crushers that are designed for you. Our line of Raptor Cone Crushers is the most diverse product line on the market, including a broad range of sizes and features. For aggregate applications, we recommend the R250 to the R450, though we also offer larger crushers that are typically used in mining.
Feb 26, 2016 But, for the circulating load, we are only interested in that fraction of the crusher output which will pass the 3/4″ screen, which is 85 tons. That part of the product gradation curve which lies below the 85 percent value represents the gradation of the finished product, and 29 tons out of each 85 would be minus 0.25″.
